Appointments

We offer standard and long appointments depending on the complexity and number of reasons for your appointment.

Standard appointments may be useful for patients wanting a repeat prescription, flu vaccination, a quick blood pressure check and similar. Long appointments are useful for complex or multiple medical needs, medical procedures, counselling or ReturnToWorkSA matters.

We are a privately billing clinic, with gap fees payable on the day of the appointment, other than in the circumstances noted below.

We are committed to continue providing high quality health care and on 1 October 2022 transitioned to a new private billing model, with all patients paying an out of pocket fee (excluding children under 5 years of age and DVA patients). A discounted fee is offered for pensioners, healthcare card holders (not Commonwealth Seniors Health card holders) and children under the age of 16 years, with a $20 out of pocket fee for standard consultations (< 20 mins).

Patients with a chronic medical condition may qualify for a GP Management Plan and these appointments will not attract out of pocket fees. Annual Health Assessments for Medicare eligible patient groups (eg those over 75 years of age) will also be offered with no out of pocket fees. Please discuss with your doctor if you believe you may qualify for these services.

Special consideration may be given to patients in genuine financial hardship and those requiring frequent appointments. Please speak to your GP if you are seeking special consideration.

Private fees apply for all procedures, such as skin lesion excisions and iron infusions and private non-Medicare fees apply for dressings and private vaccinations.

Saturday consultations are privately billed for all patients (excluding DVA).
